Description
Framed and signed LR oil painting on canvas depicting two children with Easter bonnets with fine Spring dresses, sitting on a chair. The children are the Nauman sisters, Rhoda and Barbara, friends of Sonya, Simka’s daughter. Simka Simkhovitch (1893 – 1949) worked in New York, Connecticut and Ukraine. He emigrated to the United States in 1924. Provenance: Carnegie Institute and Milch Galleries of NY. Dimensions: 36″ x 32″
