Description
Framed oil on canvas painting of the Langdon House in Strawberry Bank, Portsmouth NH. Siglower left. Russell Cheney (1881-1945) was a landscape painter who lived in Colorado Springs, and Kittery, Maine. He studied at Yale University, the Art Students League with William Merritt Chase and Kenyon Cox, and the Academie Julian in Paris with Jean Paul Laurens. A major influence on him was teacher Charles Woodbury. Dimensions: 29″ x 36″ Image size.
