Description
Framed and signed oil on canvas of a Munich family of five children pully a hay wagon. Signed on reverse, dates 18878. Adolf Eberle (1843-1914) is one of the most popular genre painters of the School of Munich. Eberle trained at the Academy of Theodor von Piloty and devoted himself to history painting, and then specialized in scenes from the Bavarian and alpine everyday.
