Description
Late 18th Century to early 19th Century Solid Bronze Military Eagle Flag Pole Topper. An original casting, most likely French directly related to Napoleon Bonaparte Imperial Guard. Note the position of the wings angled back, the head tilt and incredible details in the feather, foot and head. The Bronze Eagle comes in 3 separate pieces- the solid bronze eagle, the round orb that fits through the bolt and around the inner cup of the feet and the early but custom made wooden base the Eagle is displayed upon. The eagle alone measures 6.0″ with a 4.0″ wingspan and 7.75″ including the orb and bolt. The Antique wood display base measures 4.0″ x 4.0″ by 3.0″ inches making a total of 9.75″ from top of head to bottom.

Condition is Very Beautiful for it\'s age, with Amazing untouched dark patina and minimal ware to the metal. One of a Kind custom made Military Flag Pole Topper.
