Description
Bronze bust of an Indian Chief signed Cote on back, resting on a marble base. Philip Cote is a Moose Deer Point First Nation artist, activist, historian, and traditional wisdom keeper, with affiliations to the Shawnee, Lakota, Potawatomi, Ojibway, Algonquin, and Mohawk nations. Cote holds an MFA and is a graduate of OCAD University’s Interdisciplinary Art Media and Design Masters program (2015), where he studied Beaux-Arts style painting/drawing under Carmen Cereceda Bianchi. Dimensions: 20″ H x 11″ W x 12″ D of Sculpture; Base 8″ x 8″ x 3″
