Victorian Infantry Officer’s Sword and Scabbard by Hebbert & Co., Pall Mall East, London, 19th century. Brass hilt with traces of gilding with openwork counter-guard, lined in leather, ray skin covered grip with twisted copper wire wrapping; slightly curved single-edge blade with false edge and single wide fuller, etched foliate scroll and crown over “VR” decoration; black leather scabbard with brass mounts. Dimensions: 28.5″ Blade, 34″ Overall
