Civil War Captain Edward Adams of the 6th New Hampshire Regiment military lot to include his regulation civil war pants and leather boots with interesting repair, his Colt Army revolver, serial number 62939, NY address with non-fluted 8″ barrel, his CDV of 1st Lt Adams and a enlarge picture, picture of his grave site, a copy of his muster roll which discharged him from 1st Sergeant to 1st Lieutenant and the State of New Hampshire appointment to Captain, Co. E 6th Regiment, signed by Governor Joseph Gillmore. Captain Adams was born in Jaffrey in 1825 and mustered in Company E 6th NH in November 1861. He rose through the ranks from corporal to Sergeant to 1st Sergeant to 1st Lt to Captain reflecting heroic service. He fought in all the key battles-2nd Bull Run, Antietam, Fredericksburg, Siege of Vicksburg, Wilderness, Spotsylvania, Gold Harbor and the Siege of Petersburg.

Pants have minor wear, boots are in very good condition considering age and use, ephemera in very good condition, Army Standard Round Cylinder 1860 Colt revolver is in good condition, all original parts, very good grip, marked correctly, barrel has wear from use.
