Description
French M1882 Infantry Officer’s dress sword used in World War I. The hilt is a three-branched half-basket guard which clearly served as inspiration for the American M1902 Officer’s sword. The grip is wood with a double edged blade with a single fuller in the center on both sides and a brown painted scabbard. The ricasso bears manufacturing markings. Dimensions: 33.5″ Blade, 38.5″ Overall
