Description
Attractive glass sculpture crafted by Murano artist Luigi Mellara, signed on bottom on black base. Colored glass has been overlaid/submersed by a layer of clear glass called the Sommerso technique. Luigi Mellara was born in 1952, he studied glass making under Alfredo Barbini & later worked for Licio Zanetti. In the 1980’s he owned his own studio Vetreria Luigi Mellara. Dimensions: 20″ H
