Bronze on black metal base of Frederick Remington’s “Savage”. Signed “Copyright by Frederick Remington, 1908”. Cast by the Roman Bronze Works. Frederic Sackrider Remington (1861 – 1909) is known for Western painting and sculpture. In 1900 Remington began working exclusively with the Roman Bronze Works, New York. They produced his bronzes using the lost-wax bronze casting process until his death in 1909. Dimensions: 11″ H
