This is a bulls-eye painting, multi-colored acrylic on canvas. Upon further research this painting is not by Ken Noland as previous thought but is a companion piece by Gene Davis. Davis (1920 – 1985) worked in the District of Columbia and was known especially for his paintings of vertical stripes of color as well as his target or bulls-eye paintings. He was among the most prominent members of the Washington Color School. Dimensions: 75″ x 70″
