Certificate of Graduation for Charles Theodore Vogelgesang from the US Naval Academy plus two signed Presidential Commissions, one by President Benjamin Harrison in 1892 commissioning Voglegsang an Ensign and one by President William McKinley promoting him to Lieutenant in 1899. Carl Theodore Vogelgesang (1869 –1927) was a United States Navy rear admiral and Navy Cross recipient. He was the first U.S. Navy flag officer from California. Dimensions:20″ x 16″
