Hand-colored Chinese drawing/map of Wanshoushan (Longevity Hill) in Beijing’s Summer Palace. The palace area overlooks a lake with multiple buildings and bridges. The top description states that “the entire lake and mountain scenery is captured within this view”. Further description lower right which states that “his illustration was meticulously drawn from on site observations”. Drawing circa 1888. Dimensions: 21.5″ x 37″
