Description
Cabinet photograph of Mount Vernon, Southeast view by Luke C. Dillon on card stock. The Mount Vernon Ladies Association selected Luke Dillon as the next “official” photographer in 1883 until 1894. His approach to taking photographs would be different from either Gardner or Johnson in that “a novel feature has been added to the attractions – visitors are photographed with the house itself.” Dimensions: 7″ x 9 3/8″
