Description
Joslyn Model 1864 Carbine, serial number 6667, 52 rim fire with a 22″ round barrel and single barrel band. Inspector stampings on left side of stock, lock markings-Joslyn Fire Arms Co/Stonington Conn/1864. Several Union calvary regiments were issued around 8000 government carbines. This carbine was most likely issued to the 19th NY.
Condition report:
Good condition. The barrel has great patina, the stock has the inspector markings, all parts original, stock has several dings from use. Mechanically-fine
