Description
This Banjo type barometer was made sometime after 1841 when both Pike’s sons joined the firm. Benjamin Pike was one of the earliest scientific instrument makers in American and won in 1837 a silver medal by the Mechanics Institute of New York for one of his mountain barometers. Dimensions 38" length 10" width at barometer
Condition: Very good condition. No mercury
