Memoirs of the History of France during the Reign of Napoleon. London: Henry Colburn and Martin Bossange, 1823. Second edition. Seven volumes, full scarlet red morocco gilt by Bayntun for Brentano, covers with Napoleonic arms and emblems within an arched frame, spines in six compartments with imperial emblems, all edges gilt. 8 1/2 x 5 1/4 inches ; Some minor wear, overall a very attractive set. This work contains the memoirs of Napoleon as dictated by him to Generals Gourgaud and Montholon in Saint Helena.
Condition: Very good condition and great bindings
