Description
The first commission to John Frost to ensign in the Foot Company in the Town of Kittery, then a part of Massachusetts. Signed August 2, during the 30th year of the reign of King George the Second in 1756. His father John Frost esquire was Captain of the unit. Signed by Lieutenant-Governor Spencer Phips, Commander in Chief. Dimensions: 15" x 18"
Condition: Excellent condition, slight foxing but very clear writing. Portrait attached to glass not the document
