Description
18th Century two part cherry highboy, flat top. Upper section crown molded with five graduated drawers, Lower section arrangement of 2 over 3 drawers on cabriole legs ending in slipper feet. Original drop in apron and original brass. See " Master Craftsmen of Newport, The Townsends and Goddard’s" by Michael Moses-refer to page 40 highboy made by Christopher Townsend as an identical form. Dimensions: 5′ 8" Height x 38.5" Width x 19" Depth. Frost Estate.
Condition: Some minor lip damage, old refinish
