Description
Signature letter responding to an autograph request. Daniel Thomas Curtin was a newspaper reporter, Boston, 1910 and a correspondent for the London Times and Daily Mail. During World War I travelled with German, Austrian, Serbian, Russian, Belgian, French, British, Italian and American armies. Made six visits to Germany during war and tramped more than 1,000 miles in that country and wrote " Land of the Deepening Shadow, Germany at War, 1917. Creator of New York Police Dramas for radio, collaborated in Babe Ruth Sports Club radio series and adapted Charlie Chan for radio all in the 1930s.
