Parables of our Lord, illustrated by John Franklin. Publisher: J. B. Lippincott likely 1862. Gold gilt lettering and illustrations to both sides of cover, gold gilt edges. black illustrations throughout. Signed by John Grigg publisher, born in Cornwall, England, in 1792; died in Philadelphia, 2 August, 1864. He entered a publishing-house in Philadelphia in 1816, and in 1823 began business on his own account, and was very successful.
