Description
Converted Musket with 1801 Lock marked Us above D Gilbert with 1801 date rear of hammer. The lock has been converted to percussion and the musket stock has been cut down as a hunting, sporting musket. The lock was made by Daniel Gilbert of Mansfield Mass and 875 recorded deliveries in 1801. Dimensions: 37.5 barrel Length, 52" Overall
Condition: Fair in attic condition with rare lock
