This a great example of a circa 1905 Moroccan leather elephant sculpture. The elephant has been eloquently detailed with all of his wondrous wrinkles and glass eyes. This is no mid-century reproduction. The original carved tusks are present and no significant alterations or repairs have been made. In many cultures the elephant symbolizes good luck, nobility, prosperity, fertility and protection. Dimensions: 57" Height x 52" Length x 18" Width
