Description
This is the first type of saber that became widely used in France starting in 1767 and it was used more frequently by infantry than by cavalry units. The French cavalry often called it the shoe nail because of its small size. Because of its limited use, it stopped being produced entirely in 1831. Dimensions: 23" Blade Length
