Two stock certificates of the International Mercantile Marine Company with pictures of the Titanic. The International Mercantile Marine Company was a trust formed in the early twentieth century as an attempt by J.P. Morgan to monopolize the shipping trade. The sinking of the Titanic, the flagship of its fleet, was one of the causes of the decline of IMMC. Dimensions: 8" x 12"
