Framed oil on canvas winter scene titled “Maine Farmlands Bridgeton Maine” by E. M. Marquis Brown, signed lower left. Scene depicts a farm house and barn with mountains in the background and trees in the foreground. E.M. Marquis Brown of Marblehead MA studied in the Museum Of Fine Arts Boston as well in Italy and France and was a member of the Rockport Art Association. She is know for her landscapes and sculptures.
