Extremely well done mid 19th century oil portrait of an elegant and attractive lady, wearing a fancy blouse and a lace cover-up, bedecked with jewelry, sitting in her parlor. The mid-19th century was dominated by several major portrait painters, ranging from French Neoclassical and Romantic masters to the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood in Britain as well as itinerant American painters. Dimensions: 30″ x 24″

Very good condition with some loss on frame.
