Description
Early casting of “The Rattlesnake” by Remington. American artist Frederic Remington (1861-1909) created one of his most popular equestrian sculptures, The Rattlesnake, in 1905. This bronze sculpture depicts a cowboy riding a horse that is bending backwards to avoid being bitten by the coiled rattlesnake at its base. The sculpture rests on a marble base, signed Frederick Remington on the lower right of the bronze. Dimensions: 20″ H of Bronze x 14″ L x 8″ D; Marble base 16″ L x 9″ W
