Description
Approximately 100 dry glass plate photographs and negatives by the Soule Photograph Company, 338 Washington Street, Boston. J.P. Soule (1828-1904) was the photographer and owner from 1862-1882. Around 20 Industry related glass plates including the Ford factory, textiles, USS Missouri in the Panama Canal, Power plants, oil rigs, Erie Canal, Blast furnaces, Blacks picking cotton, etc. Also featured are several portraits, buildings as well as photographic reproductions of art work and antique maps as the firm was known for. Dimensions: 4″ x 3″
