Description
Two Civil War pen and ink sketches one titled “House at Chantilly, Va” and the other titled “At Dumpling Mountain (Cedar Mtn)”; both done by Quartermaster Sergeant Fred McCoffin, Auburn NY of the 111the NY Volunteers in 1862. Pencil signed in lower margin. Most likely, Seargent McCoffin used the structures in his drawing as supply depots for his regiment.
