Framed abstract expressionist painting, acrylic on canvas attributed to/ in the style of Sam Francis (signed lower right) in brownish-red, black and yellow colors. Sam Lewis Francis (1923 – 1994) worked in California, Japan, and France and is known for splatter-stain imagery painting with splotch-like shapes. Dimensions: 30″ x 40″. Insurance appraisal dated 2023 on file.
