Framed oil on board ship portrait of the “Onward”, a two mast ship in rolling seas, commanded by Charles Linword Bulloch. Great provenance provided by a letter on the reverse. Handed down within the Bulloch family in Maine. William Pierce Stubbs (1842 – 1909) worked in Maine and Massachusetts and is known for marine-ship portraits. Dimensions: 21″ x 35″ Image Size
